Using "Stop Words" to Get Desired Domain Dot Com For SEO

Do you know about this neat trick? If you find the .com you want is taken, just add one of these - "the", "for", "with", "and", "by", "a", "an", "in", "of", "on", "are", "be", "if", "into", "which" to the .com. They're called "Stop words" and Google ignores them in domain names. But don't take my word for it. Aaron at The Mad Hat tested this technique a while back and confirmed that using stop words in domains does work.

Assuming that this trend continues, we might see a new rush on domain names — ones that contain a variety of stop words. “the” will probably be the most popular and will be followed by words like “about,” “for” and “what.” Of course, many of these words have already been used in domains that target the vernacular of their intended audience. So, for those who are already using them, they should theoretically experience a boost in the SERPs, assuming they haven’t already.

Now is that a good tip or what? I think it killer. Let me know how it works for you. And thank Aaron by bookmarking him or Tweeting him.

BTW while you're at it - have a look at This Video I posted today. It's had over 3 Million hits in a week or something. Shot in Paris.

Hey,great post and thanks for the tip.
Do any of these stop words work in the front of the domain, like inbetween www and first word,or do they go in the last, between last word and .com
Or does it matter wich end.
Thanks,
